How to upgrade to Pro

Upgrade a server to Pro in a couple of clicks, handled securely by Stripe.

Upgrading takes about a minute. Pro also starts with a 7-day free trial, and no card is required to begin it, so you can try the full feature set before you pay a cent. When you do pay, it's through Stripe (the same payment company countless online businesses use), and you can cancel any time.

Before you start: two things to know

• Pro is per server. Each Discord server is upgraded on its own. Running Pro on one server doesn't automatically make your other servers Pro. You upgrade each one you want.
• Only the server owner can upgrade. Billing is limited to the Discord owner of the server (or the HoneyGate platform admin), so staff members can't start or change a subscription.

The steps

1. Log in to the admin panel at honeygate.app and make sure the server you want to upgrade is selected in the server picker.
2. Open Upgrade (you'll also see "Upgrade to Pro" prompts next to any Pro feature you try to turn on).
3. Choose monthly ($9.99/month) or yearly ($99.90/year, about $8.33/month, so roughly two months free).
4. Click Upgrade to Pro. You'll be taken to Stripe's secure payment page to enter your details. You can pay by card, and depending on your region Stripe may also offer Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Cash App Pay.
5. After payment, you're brought back to HoneyGate and Pro is active right away. All the Pro features unlock immediately for that server.

Is paying safe?

Yes. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on their own pages, so HoneyGate never sees or stores your card details. We only keep a reference to your subscription so we know the server is on Pro. You can read the specifics on our Privacy page.
