Celebrate milestones

Automatically post an in-server congrats the first time a member reaches a level milestone you pick.

Members who feel noticed stick around. With Milestone Celebrations, the first time a member reaches a level you've marked as a big deal (say 5, 10, 25, 50, or 100) the bot posts a short congrats in a channel you pick. That's the whole feature: automatic recognition at the moments that matter.

Available on: Free plan

How it works

  1. You pick a channel and a list of milestone levels.
  2. When a member reaches one of those levels, the bot posts a congrats embed in that channel. The post shows the member's name but never pings them (and never DMs anyone).
  3. Each milestone fires exactly once per member. HoneyGate keeps a record of every celebration, so nobody is ever congratulated twice for the same level, no matter what.

If a member jumps several levels at once (for example after an admin XP grant), the bot posts one congrats for the highest milestone crossed instead of stacking several posts back to back.

Celebrations usually appear within seconds. For levels earned through regular chatting they can take up to a minute.

Frequently asked questions

Will the member get pinged or DMed? No. The post names them (their name renders in the message) but sends no notification, and HoneyGate never DMs members about milestones.

Can the same milestone fire twice for one member? No. Every celebration is recorded first, and the record is checked before anything posts. This is enforced by the database, not just the code.

What about check-in streak milestones (7/30/100 days)? Those are built into the Daily Check-in module. Set its announcement channel and it posts streak shout-outs automatically. This page only handles level milestones, so the same moment is never celebrated twice.

What happens to levels members reached before I turned this on? Nothing. Old milestones are not celebrated retroactively. Recognition starts from the moment you enable the feature.
