Track who brings people in
Use invite tracking to see which members and campaigns actually drive growth, then reward them automatically.
You can't improve what you can't measure. Invite tracking (Pro) attributes every new join to the invite link that brought them, so you can see what's really driving growth.
What it tells you
- Which members are your best recruiters, ranked by real invites: people they brought who are still in the server and weren't flagged as brand-new throwaway accounts. Volume that evaporates doesn't rank.
- Which links or campaigns are working. Make a separate invite link per channel or campaign (a social channel, a partner, a specific creator) and watch which one delivers.
- Whether the growth sticks. The leaderboard splits still here vs left vs flagged, so low-quality traffic sources are visible at a glance.
Turn data into growth
- Reward your recruiters automatically. Set reward roles like @Recruiter at 5 real invites and @Ambassador at 25. HoneyGate grants them the moment someone qualifies, and celebrates it in your join-log channel. Recognised recruiters recruit more.
- Hand out bonus credit for promotion that happens outside Discord, like a shout-out video or a partner post, straight from the admin page.
- Double down on what works. If one campaign or creator is outperforming, put more there and cut what isn't landing.
- Run an invite contest. A time-boxed "most real invites wins" pushes a growth burst. Because rankings only count members who stay and aren't fresh alt accounts, the contest stays fair by default.
A note on quality over volume
A hundred joins that all leave in a day are worth less than ten who stay and participate. Real-invite scoring bakes this in. Pairing invites with a strong welcome and engagement loop gives the people you bring in a reason to stay.
Setup note: invite tracking needs HoneyGate to have the Manage Server permission to read your invite list.
