By adding HoneyGate to your Discord server or using the HoneyGate web panel, you agree to these Terms. Please read them. They are written in plain English.

HoneyGate is a Discord bot and web application that provides token-gating, leveling, ticketing, and community management features for Discord servers. HoneyGate is operated by Apex Studio, located at:

References to "HoneyGate", "we", "our", or "us" mean Apex Studio and the HoneyGate service. References to "you" mean the server administrator or end user accessing the service.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use HoneyGate, consistent with Discord's minimum age requirement. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. By creating an account or using the service, you represent that you meet these age requirements.
HoneyGate offers a free tier that includes core features: token-gating (gates-basic), wallet verification, the web admin panel, welcome messages, and integrations (public API, outbound webhooks, and embeddable widgets). The free tier is provided at no cost and may have usage limits.
The Pro tier is a paid subscription that unlocks advanced features including expanded gate types, leveling, ticketing, quests, whitelists, advanced analytics, and more. Pro is billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Current pricing is listed at https://honeygate.app/pricing.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, upgrades, or changes to the service at any time.
You agree not to use HoneyGate to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms without notice.
HoneyGate uses Discord OAuth2 for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
As a server administrator ("guild owner"), you are responsible for how HoneyGate is configured and used within your Discord server. You are responsible for ensuring your members' use of HoneyGate complies with these Terms and applicable law.
Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
We may change Pro pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will not apply to your current billing period; they take effect at the start of your next renewal period.
Prices are listed exclusive of taxes. You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, VAT, or other taxes based on your location.
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the HoneyGate billing panel or by contacting us. Upon cancellation:
Cancelling does not immediately remove your Pro features — you keep access for the remainder of the period you paid for.
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. When you subscribe monthly, you pay for that month's access. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current month's charge.
New annual subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of the initial payment. To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] within 7 days of your purchase. Annual subscription renewals (subsequent years) are non-refundable.
Refunds will not be issued for:

HoneyGate and all of its content, features, functionality, design, and code are owned by Apex Studio and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Your Discord server's configuration data, member data, and content remains yours. By using HoneyGate, you grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to operate the service for you.
Your use of HoneyGate is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, APEX STUDIO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, APEX STUDIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL APEX STUDIO'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO APEX STUDIO IN THE 12-MONTH PERIOD PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Apex Studio and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Marion County, Indiana. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Before pursuing formal legal proceedings, we ask that you contact us at [email protected] so we can attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to HoneyGate at any time, with or without cause, including for violations of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription (if applicable) and removing the bot from your Discord server.
Upon termination, your data may be deleted after the applicable retention period described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to server administrators via the HoneyGate web panel with at least 14 days' notice before taking effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
