Is my data safe?
Plain answers about what HoneyGate collects, what it never does, and your rights.
Short answer: yes, and we keep it simple and honest. HoneyGate collects only what it needs to run the service. This page is the plain-English summary — the full details are on our Privacy Policy.
What we never do
- We never sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- We don't use tracking pixels or third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, etc.).
- We never see your card details. All payments go through Stripe on their own secure pages.
- We never have access to your crypto. If you connect a wallet, we only read its public address — we never see your private key or seed phrase, and we can't move your funds.
- We don't store the text of your messages. Activity features count things like message and voice activity to award XP; the message content itself isn't kept.
What we do collect (and why)
- Your Discord account basics (user ID, username, avatar) — to log you in and recognise you in servers.
- Server settings — the rules and features admins configure.
- Activity data — XP, levels, quest progress, and similar, so the rewards work.
- Wallet addresses (only if you connect one) — public addresses, used to check what you hold against a server's rules.
- Subscription status (for Pro servers) — a reference to your Stripe subscription, never card numbers.
Where it's kept
Your data is stored on secure servers (hosted in Germany) and protected with encrypted connections. We keep operational logs only as long as needed and prune them automatically.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can disconnect your wallets and stop using the service at any time. To make a request, use the contact details on the Privacy Policy — which also covers GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA (California) specifics.
In short
HoneyGate is built to do its job with the minimum information, to keep it safe, and to never make money by selling it. If you ever have a concern, reach out — we'd rather answer than leave you guessing.
