Giveaways

Run click-to-enter giveaways in one click — with optional alt-blocking and cross-server pools.

Run a giveaway in seconds: post a prize, members click Enter, and HoneyGate draws the winners at the end. Basic giveaways are free; multi-server giveaways are Pro.

Setting up a giveaway

In the admin panel, create a giveaway with:

1. The prize (just describe it).
2. The channel to post in.
3. The number of winners.
4. The end time.
5. (Optional) A required role — only members with it can enter (great for "subscribers only" or holder-only draws).
6. (Optional) Exclude alts — skip accounts flagged by alt detection so one person can't enter twice.

Member experience

Members see the giveaway embed with a live countdown and the entry count, and click Enter. Winners get an announcement and a DM. If you need to, you can reroll or end it early.

The "block alts" advantage

Turning on Exclude alts keeps giveaways fair — someone running five accounts can't grab five entries. (This needs alt detection enabled to have any effect.)

Cross-server giveaways (Pro)

With cross-server giveaways, several communities can run a joint giveaway whose entries pool across all the connected servers — a powerful way to co-promote with partner communities. One server hosts; the others opt in.

Tips

• Keep end times clear — the countdown shows members exactly when it closes.
• Pair a required role with a level or holder role to reward your most engaged members.
